What is Sketch and Soda?
A cooler version of the classic "drink and draw" (at least we like to think so). Read more here.
What skill levels can attend?
Any and all skill levels are welcome! We encourage first time artists, out-of-practice artists, people who don't consider themselves artists, long-time artists, and everyone in between to come and get creative and play.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes. All of our events (unless otherwise stated) are 21+. We have a BYOB policy and don't want any youngin's getting their hands on the adult mild poison, ya know. Keep an eye out for some underage-friendly events!
What do I need to bring?
All you need is yourself and a will to live. Just kidding (but not really). We will have some supplies for you (paper, clipboards, pencils, markers, maybe some crayons), but if you're picky and like to use a specific art supply, please bring it. We can't please everyone all the time, although we try. Oh, and BYOB (B being booze - wine, beer, whathaveyou).
Where are you? (And I'm so sorry) (This is about directions, not Blink-182)
Our home base is at The Woods at Red Root Farm in Milford, CT. Address is: 101 Red Root Lane, Milford, CT 06460. This is a residential address. When you go up the driveway, please take the first left following the signs for "The Woods." You'll be in a wood-chip parking lot with a massive black geodesic dome. That's it, you're in the right place. No need to knock, we're all family here.
Are the live models nude?
Good question. As much as we love and appreciate the human body, no. It will not be fully on display, but pretty close. Our models will be in black underwear that they feel comfortable in.
